MLB Reports Awareness Days In November

There is a reason why our website has gone to more of a Salary based menu of topics - it runs every aspect of the game of baseball in these modern times. You want the truth, just follow where the money lies. Our site has coverage on all 30 teams payrolls, and what lies ahead based on their current payroll structure

Part of the 2013 World Series ending is that it officially starts the “HotStove” for the winter.  We are going to kick the festivities by having an Awareness day for each club in November.

We are going to do the same thing in March, when all of the teams are closer to being finalized for the 2014 campaign.

We will start by going with the worst team in the MLB – to the best team.

The Astros had a $19 Million Dollar Payroll this year now after the Trade Deadline. While the AL East teams battle it out - with 4 teams over .500 - and the Blue Jays just slightly under, the Astros fattened up the A's/Indians and Rangers record. Since the MLB doesn't have a Salary floor, a more competitive schedule would not tip the scales in a Division's favor, now that there are 2 Wild Card teams that make the playoffs. The 2013 AL Astros finished the season with a 51-111 record, which was also in Major League Baseball (worst record in franchise history). With that being said, it obviously hasn’t helped the club in terms of success.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at https://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
