James Paxton looked great in his 4 September starts for the Mariners. In 24 Innings thrown in, he featured an ERA of 1.50 ERA and a WHIP of 0.917. If he can step up as a quality LH Starter in the Rotation for the Mariners, then look the hell out. He can throw in the upper 90’s and has great command for only being 25. He is the MLB Reports pick to win the AL Rookie Of the Year Award. That is not just cause he hails from the same hometown as me either. This guy is a gem in the making!
