Who Owned Baseball April 22, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Carlos Carrasco struck out 8 White Sox over 8 shutout innings and earned the 7-0 decision for Cleveland.

Dan Straily allowed only 2 runs over 7 innings and struck out an eye popping 14 Padres along the way. He did not get a decision but helped set up the Marlins 6-3 win in 11 innings.

Ronald Torreyes went 4 for 5 with a double, 2 RBI and a run scored to help the Yankees win an 11-5 slugfest in Pittsburgh.

Wilton Contreras went 3 for 4 with a grand slam and 3 runs scored to power the Cubs past Cincinnati, 12-8.
