Anthony Rendon had a game for the ages, going 6 for 6, slugging 3 homers, scoring 5 runs and driving in a mind boggling 10 runs himself as the Nationals smothered the Mets, 23-5.
Patrick Corbin gave up 2 hits and no runs over 6 1/3 innings. He didn’t get a decision but set up the Diamondbacks walk off 2-0 win over Colorado.
Miguel Sano collected 3 hits, including a homer, driving in 5 to help the Twins beat the Royals 7-5.
Dallas Keuchel continued his fast start with 7 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 9 Oakland batters en route to a 7-2 victory.
