Let’s see owned baseball on June 17, 2019
Earning Full WOBs:
Joey Lucchesi shut out the Brewers over 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5 to earn the 2-0 decision for San Diego.
Brian McCann reached base 5 times, including a home run, scoring 2 and driving in 2 to help red hot Atlanta clobber the Mets, 12-3.
Masahiro Tanaka threw a complete game 2 hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking 1 as the Yankees blanked Tampa Bay, 3-0.
Mike Trout put on a show in Toronto, collecting 4 hits including a double and a homer, driving in 3, as the Angels cruised to a 10-5 final.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
José Berríos struck out 10 Red Sox in 8 strong innings, allowing 1 run, 5 hits and no walks. The Twins bats were shut down, however, in the 2-0 final.
Cavan Biggio homered twice and walked twice but his Blue Jays were doubled up by the Angels, 10-5.
Elieser Hernández held the Cardinals to 1 earned run and 1 unearned run over 6 innings, striking out 6 and walking none. He took the hard luck 5-0 loss for Miami.
Max Muncy got on base 3 times including a homer but the Dodgers fell short against San Francisco, 3-2.

Earning Full WOBs:
José Berríos threw 6 2/3 innings, allowing 1 earned run, no walks and struck out 4 White Sox in the Twins 11-4 blowout.
Joey Lucchesi struck out 11 Blue in 6 2/3 innings as San Diego doubled up Toronto, 6-3.
Eddie Rosario collected 4 hits, including a double and a game tying homer, driving in 3, as Minnesota bombed the White Sox, 11-4.
Ildemaro Vargas went 5 for 6 with a homer and 3 runs scored as the Diamondbacks gave the Giants a historic 18-2 beating.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Jorge Alfaro went 3 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI but the Marlins dropped a wild 12-10 game in Washington.
Freddy Galvis singled and homered, driving in 2, in Toronto’s 6-3 loss to the Padres.
Mike Mikolas threw 7 innings, striking out 9 Braves in the process but was saddled with Atlanta’s 5-2 defeat.
Blake Snell pitched into the 7th, striking out 7 Cleveland batters in 6 2/3 innings, surrendering 1 run. He took the hard luck 3-1 decision for Tampa Bay.

Who Owned Baseball April 5, 2018 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2018 #WOB Standings

Jon Lester threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits, striking out 6 Brewers and made a strange but effective bounce pass to third base to get a rare pick off move as the Cubs blanked the Crew, 8-0.
Maikel Franco got 3 hits, including a homer, and drove in 4 as the Phillies shutout Miami, 5-0.
David Price shutout the Rays over 7 innings, and while he did not get the decision, he set up the Red Sox 3-2 walk off extra inning win.
Adam Jones doubled and hit a dramatic 2 run go ahead homer that changed the momentum and got the Orioles a 5-2 victory against the Yankees.
They all owned baseball on April 5, 2018
