Luis Severino allowed no runs over 8 innings, striking out 9 Rays and earning the 4-1 decision for the Yankees.

Eddie Rosario reached base 5 times, homering and stealing a base, scoring 4 runs as Minnesota thumped Cleveland, 9-3.

Sean Newcomb struck out 7 Padres over 6 shutout innings to give Atlanta a 1-0 win.

J. T. Realmuto collected 3 hits, including 2 homers, to help the Marlins top Baltimore, 5-4.

Who Owned Baseball August 8, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Jake Lamb hit 2 homers, including a come from behind grand slam, to give the Diamondbacks a 6-3 victory over the Dodgers.

Max Kepler got on base 4 times, including a pair of homers, as Minnesota clobbered Milwaukee, 11-4.

Zach Eflin pitched 7 strong innings allowing 2 runs to get the 5-2 decision for the Phillies over the Braves.

Corey Kluber threw a complete game, striking out 11 Rockies, allowing a lead off homer and only 2 hits after that and saw his Indians walk off to a 4-1 final (sorry Sale.)
