Luis Severino threw 8 innings, striking out 10 Tigers and allowing 1 run to earn the 7-4 decision for the Yankees.

Mike Trout reached base 4 times, scored 3 and knocked in 2 including the go ahead run in the 8th as the Angels came from behind to top the Royals, 9-6.

Clayton Richard struck out 5 Braves over 7 innings, allowing 3 runs as the Padres rolled, 11-4.

Eric Hosmer doubled, homered and walked, driving in 3 and scoring 2 to help the Padres smash the Braves, 11-4.
