Why FanDuel Is My Preferred Game Of Choice For Our MLB DFS Strategy

The MLB Reports knows it is hard to put together a lineup when you receive your 'best' information so late from so called 'experts' in the industry. We intend to be innovators of doing this the earliest. Sure stuff changes overnight, however the base knowledge is there, and you can flip the intel around until lineup lock sets in.

BY Hugh Hawkins:

It is not a lie that I like the scoring system at Fanduel a lot better for how we run our rosters each day of 9, 15, 21, 50 or 63 rosters.  The key is to make sure you plunk down your money early on the $1 and $3 Sac Fly – in order to fulfill your entries limit needs.  We always go back when we have the time to fill each one out.

FanDuel also only makes you have one Starting Pitcher in the mix, while DraftKings makes you win 2.  Based on our formula, it is derived more off positional players going off, than it is for Starting Positions.  Anyways, with using 3 or 5 pitchers also has you roster 40 – 60 % of the a pitcher on the slate.  Should one pitcher blow up – it sinks all of your awesome work done on stacking teams.

If we have 3 pitchers – than one pitcher only represents 33.33% of our rosters, 5 pitchers is only 20% and 7 pitchers is about 14.3%.  It puts more onus on the hitters determining if you win or not, the whole reason to throw down on so many entries.

There are many of us implementing our system each day now, and we have been on the verge of raking in some big time prizes.  Since we use all of the guys on a team we stack for, if a lower named player goes off, or even 2 guys. that may be the difference in making a killing in a GPP tournament, as opposed to just doubling your money.

Yesterday was not a great day for us a group –  but we had Jose Fernandez on all of our $3 Sac Fly (21 Rosters) and our longshot TB stack had a lot of clubs with Oswaldo Arcia and Desmond Jennings.  We had those with Victor Martinez (2 HR’s), and Jose Fernandez’s 69 PTS he brought in.  We were siting in the top 10 all afternoon long until a late 0 for a combined 18 ABs at the end stifled us from winning a huge amount of dough.

We still finished 315th out of 38515 people and it rescued a day where we didn’t do so well in stacking.  We are beginning to believe that Sunday is the toughest day to peg stacks with a different variance of rosters set forth for the getaway day.

We play the percentages – and hope that 2 or 3 rosters can go off for the mid 250’s score that will bring home that 1st place prize.  By using a list from all of our stackable players from the times we wheel with each other, our rise up leaderboards can be construed as fast when we hit one or 2 players.

To offset some budgetary issues, we often will draw 6 or so player near the minimum salary and also use nearly a half dozen mid-tier players and full priced players to do the same.

These guys may not be on a their own team stack – but we can align him with two clubs we have enlisted 3 players from each – to help round out a roster.

This is a must if one of your keyed pitcher’s is also a squad where you stack on the night at FanDuel ( with  a 4 player limit per team).

In our time as DFS players we have subscribed to several subscriptions. but do you know whatIi hate??  Their experts are always late to give their optimal picks. It is like they are hoarding the information until the last minute so formula’s like ours can’t be used against them.  They are worried about guys with big bankrolls running their cash – spread out using their cheat sheets.

It is our goal at mlbreports.com to post our articles on our selections as soon as we decide what we are going to do.  Our friends at dailyrotohelp.com and dynastydigest.sportsblog.com have a prolific track record of posting their picks the day before the contests begin.

We recently began doing the same for FanDuel under the same format.  In the end, you will have a nice set of opinions from DFS experts who have lugged in the necessary hours of research to provide their picks.

In the end it is just a consulting style of maneuver.  After processing this intel, it will be up to you to decide which route you choose to go.

The management at mlbreports.com is very happy with the amount of hits we are generating with MLB DFS readers – so for that we thank you profusely.  As long as there is a demand for it, we have every intention of bringing forth the content.  The variety and style of each website and ours is a nice option for anyone playing at FanDuel, DraftKings or even FanPicks.

I won’t hold anything back.. It takes 1.5 – 2 hours to employ our MLB Reports DFS systems, and then you have to look for “Quick Player Replaces”. The highs are definitely more pronounced once the game action starts and the ability to win a lot of money is always in the background.  In our posts we will tell you how many pitchers and teams were going forth with on the slate of action.

This is still a lot of chance, so don’t lay down cash you can’t afford to lose.  This is for the dedicated hardcore player that is already placing a couple of hours a day when they decide to play, and are wagering any where from 9 to 63 entries by themselves already.

For those guys that want to stake it up higher, we have the ability to hit you with a lot more scenario’s even then. We have 105 rosters ( 5 pitchers by 7 teams stacked – which equals 21 rosters a chucker) and even a 7×7 pitcher and team stacks, that would call for 147 rosters.

Keep in mind some sharps are already doing this.  Can you imagine having one of your 7 team stacks be involved in nearly 60 rosters (25 – 35 per player) and have them go off?

Double digit runs scored in a game has never felt so good for your stacked team.
