Alex Rios has been quietly piecing together a solid campaign in 2013, with 10 HRs (T 5th in the AL), He has 8 2B, 7 SB and has scored 25 Runs in 40 GP. His 3 Slash line reads .297/.363/.917. Behind Great Start Pitching, plus recent good play of Adam Dunn, the Southsiders have won 4 Games in a row to climb within 4 Games of the AL Central with a 19 – 21 Record.
DH on our home site pages – Stands for Daily HR Hitters in the Majors.
We are going to run the gauntlet on the previous days HRs for all MLB Players.
I loved it when MLB XM Radio used to do a running total every night on their Roundtrip with Mike Ferrin (Laser Show). So I am bringing it every day on this website. To view every nights big boppers for the whole year (from May 8th on) visit the DH page!
Click beyond the Youtube link or click the READ THE REST OF THIS ENTRY ICON to see who hit yesterdays big flies.

Ramirez has 786 Extra Base Hits by the age of 34 – including 80 last year (1st in the NL) and 8 this year in 15 Games Played (3 Slash so far of .327/.389/1.001, 3 HRs and 12 RBI.) It is not to hard to conceive that he could hit another 300 + in his career and challenge for a top 10 position on the ALL – Time List. He has had several knee problems that have plagued his career and should consider an eventual move to the AL to DH. The Brewers played incredibly good in the 2nd half – due to contributions of the 3B and Ryan Braun.
There were 4 guys who had Multi – HR games yesterday. Adam LaRoche not only hit 2 big flies yesterday, he also extended his HR streak to 3 consecutive days.
Paul Goldschmidt continued his torrid pace – by launching 2 baseball to fans. He has taken over second place of the NL HR Race.
Aramis Ramirez is trying to make up for lost time by clubbing 2 Roundtrippers yesterday. If he can come back and contribute with Ryan Braun, the club may have a punchers chance to stay relevant.
Scott Van Slyke is making his father proud. He bashed 2 HRs in a losing cause versus Atlanta yesterday.
J.J. Hardy, Geovany Soto, Adam LaRoche, Alex Rios and Jason Kipnis have hit HRs in consecutive games – with LaRoche doing it for 3 contests in a row – while all others are on 2 game streaks..
Teammates Alex Rios and Adam Dunn both entered the top 5 for AL HRs yesterday.
Carlos Gonzalez has now made it into the top 5 NL HRs for the year.
