Dailyrotohelp.com would like to welcome you to the MLB DFS article for the 5th of June.

This is one ugly 7 game slate folks. This feels more of a GPP-type night than anything to do with cash games. The pitching is scarce and the bats aren’t much better!

For this daily fantasy baseball season, each day we’ll be writing up a group of pitchers and hitters that we’re considering for our cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. We’ll also provide a list of stacks to consider. As with any DFS sport, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than they are in real life due to match-up, price, park factor, etc. This is important when constructing a roster.

One thing to remember outside of making sure your guy is in the lineup, is to always check the weather. Always. Make this something that is part of your basic research. Baseball games can get postponed! Your players receive no points from postponed games!

So I was really impressed with our readers putting forth the Baseball Hall Of Fame voting last month.  Additionally, we also put out some Division Winner polls.  The general consensus of what the landscaped was with (in terms of favorites) were pretty much on par with what the pundits have been calling.

The latest installment in our polls to keep you busy is one to who will win the World Series.  There are not many sports blog out there that have had the handicapping record as we have over the last few years.

I write a weekly post on the World Series Odds year round, and also have tackled the League Championship odds and Division Races.

In a few weeks we will start seeing season win predictions (for over/unders).  We will also do player performances on the campaign.

If that were not enough, we come to you with another season of MLB Shutout Survivor (Charting each team on how long they can avoid being blanked), and also MLB Runs Scoring Survivor ( doing a daily tally on all 30 MLB clubs going through all runs scored variations of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 or plus – until each squad completes all 11 totals).

The MLB Reports also is going to be heavy into Fantasy Sports in 2016.  We are looking at putting out Daily Fantasy Rosters at Draftkings.com

The Closers job in the MLB is a rough negotiation.  Saving games does not necessarily quantify an awesome reliever or not, but the stat category still remains both played up for fantasy, and something to reference.

For the tops in most of the leagues in 2014, you must have look towards the top clubs 1st.

In Oakland, I think Jim Johnson and Luke Gregerson will take turns saving contests.  The same thing may happen in Los Angeles – where Brian Wilson and Kenley Jansen may also both see time as the clubs Closer. Read the rest of this entry
