There are many possible World Series match ups. But historical, none will be as unique as a Mariners/Nationals fall classic.
The star power would be off the charts. And we would see a match up unlike anyone since 1980 for one reason, unlike any since 1906 for another and one we have NEVER seen for a third reason.

Long time and beloved figure of the Red Sox organization Dick Bresciani passed away this weekend.
His thumbprint on the Red Sox was indelible.
His wife, my first grade teacher, was instrumental in making me a baseball fanatic.
If it wasn’t for Mrs. Bresciani, there would be no Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
