Chuck Booth’s 2015 MLB Park Historical Road Trip

The GOAL: 183 Straight Days (every single day at least 1 gm) Of ALL 30 MLB Parks Trip In 2015 (216 Games) view full year schedule.

The CAUSE:  To Raise Money for Concussion Awareness (via Sports Legacy Institute. donate money here) Through Inspiring Others.

DAY DATE

So I was put to the test more in the last three weeks than throughout the whole trips.  I logged over 10000 Miles on the road from July.1 – July.14/2015.  It was worth it and I have had a few days of rest now to gather momentum for the second half run.

I have altered my schedule to accommodate a lot more rest in the 2nd half as I will be making lots of more media appearances on TV and radio.

I added some games in New York City, Baltimore and Washington,  and took some games away from Boston and Philadelphia.

As of this date, I have eaten 44 hotdogs, drank 48 beers, took down 100 energy drinks, and 4 gallons of coffee.  I have  logged 45,000 Miles by air, ground and public transport.  I have used 22 of 40 free rental days.  The Buick Verano I just returned put on 12,500 Miles of that alone.  I now have a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze for the 2nd half that I will venture on similar mileage with...asg 3

So far I am above the budget line for my $22, 500.00 projection by about $100.

I apologize for not keeping up with the blogging, however there were many nights in the last 2 weeks where I had no time to spare. There was also a contingency of extra interviews and media I have done that wasn’t part of the original plan.  I hope to be more prolific in the 2nd half.  I do plan on writing a book on this whole journey.

I completed an awesome doubleheader with Great American and Busch Stadium July.1, then also did the feat with a Wrigley and Us Cellular Field doubleheader two days later.  I was privy to a Wrigley natural day/night double on July 7th, and will be doing a two for one move on July.17th with Us Cellular Field.

Currently there are 16 more doubleaheaders listed in the second half.

There is still no park I haven’t made it for the game. The most impressive feat was driving 1313 Miles from Coors Field to Safeco Field in order to his the 1st pitch in Seattle.  I have now done 7 trips of more than a 1000 Miles this year.

Stadium Count after July.16, 2015 (26 of 30 parks,  finished for year with Angel Stadium, Comerica Park,  Busch Stadium, Fenway Park, Great American Ball Park, Progressive Field, Marlins Park, Globe Life Park, Minute Maid Park, Petco Park and Kauffman  Stadium.)

2015 Trip schedule.

The 30 MLB Park tour by travel or air is one of the most adrenaline filled chases one can endure. It is like the Amazing Race, meets Survivor, against Planes, Trains and Automobiles. But even if you just love to travel to a few games each year, or maybe can't get away from your town, but want to know when and where everyone is playing. The MLB Reports has you covered for all 2430 games in 2014, the ALL - Star Events, and Post Season to come after that.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at https://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
