Method of Transportation To This Game, Where I am headed next.

Will return a rental car to Philly 30th station, that I rented from the previous day.  Amtrak it to Washington, pick up another rental there, to take to the Nationals Park facility.  Hopefully my arrival at 5:15 will mean I see at least 5 innings.

In Philadelphia, I must exit CBP at no later than 2:30, so I hope 5 innings are done there to preserve my doubleheader at both fields. I would likely just leave CBP early in that scenario.  Having a game 70 minutes in only in Washington is a good percentage pick to nail at least 5 innings. Even though the pitching matchup is Max Scherzer and Michael Wacha.

If the game is slow in Philly, i would have no chance to make the Nats game for a qualified contest, considering the brutal driving traffic down I-95, -295 and the beltway.  The train is the only option here.  I also love Washington as my favorite NL squad, so would rather make the game I nail down, although would love to nail down a second.

If I miss either game for the 216 mark, I will simply add Cincinnati to Oct.01, to fill the void.  It is all about having fun here – with some deft traveling maneuvering.

The Players Involved

I am watching this game with myself at both contests.

2015 Trip schedule.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at https://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
