Sully Baseball Daily Podcast – November 21, 2014
The brilliant Mike Nichols died the other day.
The maestro was so brilliant and prolific in his career that he would have been a legend even if he had never directed The Graduate, which was the Citizen Kane of comedies.
His career reminded me of Branch Rickey’s, who transformed baseball in ways that are still felt today and would have been one of its greatest pioneers even if he never broke the color barrier.
It is another strange comparison episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.
