Kyle Gibson struck out 6 Tigers and walking none over 7 solid innings to give the Twins a 4-1 win.

Hunter Pence singled, doubled and homered, driving in 4 and scoring 3 times as the Rangers rolled in Seattle, 14-1.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Chris Bassitt struck out 9 Blue Jays in 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run. The A’s bullpen would collapse in extra innings allowing Toronto to walk off as 5-4 winners.

Melky Cabrera homered twice and added a singled and a double but the Pirates were edged by the Dodgers, 7-6.

Jon Duplantier came out of the bullpen in extra innings to throw 4 shutout frames, allowing 1 hit, 2 walks and striking out 4 Cubs. He did not factor into the decision in the Diamondbacks 6-5 loss in 15 innings.

Daniel Vogelbach reached base 3 times but the rest of the Mariners were silenced in the 14-1 drubbing by the Rangers.
