Sonny Gray threw a complete game 3 hit shutout, striking out 9 and walking 1 Dodger batter and contributed a hit himself in Oakland’s 2-0 victory.

Curt Casali had his second straight 2 homer day, finishing with 3 hits and 3 RBI in Tampa Bay’s 10-2 clobbering of Detroit.

Noah Syndergaard was perfect through 6 and finished with 8 shutout innings, giving up 3 hits, no walks and striking out 9 Padres en route to a 4-0 Mets win.

Joey Votto reached base 4 times, scoring twice and launching a 3 run homer to lead the Reds past St. Louis, 4-0.

Trevor Bauer went the distance, tossing 9 innings yielding 5 hits, 2 runs and 1 walk. The Royals would score in the top of the 9th however and win 2-1 in Cleveland.

Aaron Hicks reached base 3 times, including a triple and drove in 3 runs in the Twins 8-7 loss to the Pirates.

Brett Anderson pitched well over 7 innings, giving up just 5 hits, 2 runs and 1 walk. He would be saddled with a tough luck loss as Oakland topped the Dodgers, 2-0.

Dexter Fowler went 3 for 4 with a triple in the Cubs 7-2 defeat by the Rockies.
