Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts

Kevin Gausman took a shutout into the 7th, finishing with 6 1/3 innings, no runs, 4 hits and 7 strikeouts. He would get a no decision as the Orioles bullpen lost the 2-0 game to Texas in the 9th.

Danny Valencia reached base 3 times, including a homer. But his Blue Jays fell into a deep hole early and could not get out and the Red Sox won 12-6.

Max Scherzer once again pitched into the 9th inning, allowing 5 hits, striking out 9 and walking none. But the Braves rallied for a walk off win against him and the Nationals fell 2-1.

Cody Asche reached base 4 times including a 2 run homer in the Phillies 8-7 extra inning loss to Milwaukee.
