Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts

Scott Kazmir pitched 7 strong innings, allowing only 3 runs. But those runs were enough as the Royals beat the A’s. 3-2.

Carlos Correa singled, doubled and homered, driving in a pair in the Astros 9-6 loss to the Yankees.

Clayton Kershaw allowed just 1 earned run, struck out 9 and walked no Marlins batter. But the Dodgers defense betrayed him and he was saddled with a tough luck 3-2 loss.

Jace Peterson singled and doubled, driving in 3 runs in the Braves 8-4 loss to Pittsburgh.
