Multi HR Games MLB 2014

Javier Baez clubbed a tater in his MLB debut, took a game off, then knocked off his 1st Multi HR effort in his 3rd game. The Cubs 21 Year Old 2B from Puerto Rico, was the 9th overall selection by Chicago in the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft. This kid has scary power, and I thus think he will be adding him name to many future multiple HR games in his lifetime.

Lonnie Chisenhall (3 HR Game) June 9th

Chris Davis, Orioles (3 HR Game) May 20th

Ryan Braun – Brewers (3 HR Game) – April.8th

Hardy is one of the best offensive Shortstops (just winning the Silver Slugger for the AL in 2013) in the game - and is a Gold Glove recipient from 2012 and 2013. While his power has suffered some in 2014, he is still batting 20 PTS higher than his career mark. Hardy is in the last year of his contract, and what a steal of a deal the O's pulled off, securing his services for a Minor League and Jim Hoey back in 2010. The O's extended him to a 3 YR deal worth $22.5 MIL prior to 2012.

Last 4 HR Game (Not in 2014, but 2012)

josh hamilton

Josh Hamilton, Rangers (4) – May 8, 2012

Adam Rosales, seen here rounding behind 3rd, is not known for much of a power threat, yet he tallied 2 long bombs earlier this week in a game. I was surprised to see the Journeyman INF has knocked 23 HRs in 859 AB. His 3 slash line for his lifetime is still only .226/.298/.348 in that time frame however, his output would equate to about 18 - 22 HRs for a full year.

About chuckbooth3023

I played competitive baseball until 18 years old and had offers to play NCAA Division 1 University Baseball at Liberty University. Post-concussion symptoms from previous football and baseball head injuries forced me to retire by age 19. After two nearly made World Record Attempts in 2008, I set a New World Record by visiting all 30 MLB Parks (from 1st to last pitch) in only 24 Calendar Days in the summer 0f 2009. In April of 2012, I established yet another new GWR by visiting all 30 Parks in only 23 Calendar Days! You can see the full schedule at the page of the www.mlbreports.com/gwr-tracker . In 2015, I watched 224 MLB Games, spanning all 30 MLB Parks in 183 Days. Read about that World Record Journey at https://mlbreports.com/183in2015/229sked2015/
