Curt Casali had his second straight 2 homer day, finishing with 3 hits and 3 RBI in Tampa Bay’s 10-2 clobbering of Detroit.

Noah Syndergaard was perfect through 6 and finished with 8 shutout innings, giving up 3 hits, no walks and striking out 9 Padres en route to a 4-0 Mets win.

Joey Votto reached base 4 times, scoring twice and launching a 3 run homer to lead the Reds past St. Louis, 4-0.

Kris Bryant got a pair of hits including a 2 out, 2 run bottom of the 9th walk off come from behind homer to give the Cubs a 9-8 victory over Colorado.

Curt Casali singled and homered twice, driving in 3, leading Tampa Bay past Detroit, 5-2.

Lance Lynn went 7 strong innings, letting up a single run and 5 hits, earning the 4-1 decision for the Cardinals over Cincinnati.

Kevin Gausman pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 innings, 6 hits, no runs and 1 walk. He would not get a decision but the Orioles would win over Atlanta 2-1 in 11 innings.

David Ortiz capped off a magical day for Boston fans with a 4 for 5 performance, driving in 7 helped by a pair of 3 run homers and led to the drubbing of Detroit, 11-1.

Carlos Gonzalez reached base 4 times including a pair of homers, driving in 6 helping the Rockies top the Reds 17-7.

Eduardo Rodríguez pitched 7 strong innings, allowing just 3 hits, a run on a solo homer and 1 walk, earning a much needed 11-1 victory for the Red Sox over the Tigers.

Jacob deGrom took a shutout into the 8th finishing with 7 2/3 innings of 2 hit, 8 strikeout and 2 walk ball. He did not get the decision but the Mets topped the Dodgers in 10, 3-2.

Kirk Nieuwenhuis led an amazing Mets attack by reaching base 5 times, doubling and driving in 4 runs to clobber the Dodgers 15-2.

Miguel Gonzalez pitched into the 8th innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 run (on a solo homer) and no walks, earning a much needed victory for Baltimore over the Rays, 5-1.

Alex Rodriguez homered 3 times, including a game tying shot in the 9th, driving in 4 altogether and leading the Yankees to a stunning come from behind win over Minnesota, 8-5.

Matt Duffy missed the cycle by a single, which he almost got on a video reviewed play that went against him. He finished with a double, triple and homer, helping San Francisco top Colorado 6-3.

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched 8 shutout 4 hit innings, walking none and striking out 7 as the Orioles blanked the Indians 4-0 and won both games of their double header.

James McCann got 2 hits including a 9th inning walk off homer leading the Tigers to a 5-4 come from behind win against the White Sox.

Brett Lawrie went 3 for 5 including a grand slam to lead the red hot A’s to an 8-2 blowout against Texas.

Jimmy Nelson allowed 2 hits, including a solo homer, and 1 walk over 8 innings, earning the 4-1 decision for Milwaukee over the Mets.

Yasmany Tomas collected 4 hits, drove in a run and scored the go ahead run in the Diamondbacks come from behind 9th inning rally to top the Rockies 8-7.

Who Owned Baseball June 19, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

Buster Posey reached base 4 times, stole a base and hit a go ahead grand slam as the Giants slugged past the rival Dodgers 9-5.

Albert Pujols doubled and hit a go ahead grand slam as the Angels stunned the A’s with a wild 12-7 come from behind victory.

Joe Ross stopped the red hot Pirates with 7 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run and 1 walk while striking out 11, earning the 4-1 decision for Washington.

Phil Hughes pitched 8 innings allowing 2 hits, one being a solo homer, and won the 7-2 game for the Twins over the Cubs.

They all owned baseball on June 19, 2015.

Who Owned Baseball June 18, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

C. J. Wilson threw 8 strong innings, allowing 1 run while striking out 9 and walking no Arizona batters for an Angels 7-1 win.

Zack Greinke pitched 7 shutout innings, striking out 8, 4 hits and no walks. He did not get the decision but the Dodgers got the 1-0 balk off win.

Preston Tucker doubled and homered, driving in 3 helping the Astros top Colorado 8-4.

Ryan Howard got 2 hits, including a 2 run homer that drove in all the Phillies runs, and made a diving stop in a 2-1 victory over Baltimore.

They all owned baseball on June 18, 2015.

Who Owned Baseball June 17, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

Billy Butler went 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI in Oakland’s 16-2 thrashing of the Padres on Pride Night.

Todd Frazier homered twice including a walk off grand slam in the 13th inning, leading the Reds past Detroit 8-4.

Felix Hernandez out dueled Bumgarner with 8 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 walks as the Mariners snuck past San Francisco, 2-0.

Tsuyoshi Wada pitched 7 shutout innings, holding the Indians to 4 hits and 2 walks and earned the decision in the 17-0 Cubs blowout.

They all owned baseball on June 17, 2015.

Who Owned Baseball June 16, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

Brock Holt became the first Red Sox player since 1996 to hit for the cycle, doubling, smacking a single, homering to the opposite field and finally tripling into the triangle, scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the 9-4 victory over Atlanta.

Chi Chi Gonzalez pitched a shutout into the 9th inning before surrendering a game tying homer after 8 1/3 innings. His excellent outing would go as a no decision but the Rangers walked off against the Dodgers, 3-2.

Clint Robinson put Washington on the board with a homer and kept getting on. He would finish with 4 hits and a walk, adding a double and three runs scored in the 16-4 thrashing of Tampa Bay.

Matt Harvey threw 7 shutout innings, walking none and allowing 4 hits, getting the first place Mets another dramatic win against Toronto, 3-2.

They all owned baseball on June 16, 2015.
