Carlos Gonzalez went 5-5 with 3 RBI, leading the relentless Colorado attack against Texas, 12-1.

Henderson Alvarez threw his second complete game shutout of the season. His 6 hitter against the Mets gave the Marlins a 3-0 victory.

Grady Sizemore got 3 hits including a walk off single off of the Green Monster in the 12th, sealing the Red Sox 4-3 win over Cincinnati.

Hiroki Kuroda was solid pitching into the 8th inning, letting up 1 earned run, striking out 8 Angels and walking none. The bullpen blew his lead but the Yankees won 4-3.

They owned baseball on May.06, 2014.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Cody Asche went 4-4 including a game tying grand slam. It wouldn’t be enough as the Blue Jays topped the Phillies 6-5 in 10 innings.

George Springer had a 3-4 day including an RBI double. It was one of the few Houston highlights as they were mauled by the Tigers, 11-4.

Tim Hudson pitched 8 2/3 innings letting up just 1 earned run. However the unearned run was the walk off replay confirmed game ender as the Pirates upon further review beat the Giants 2-1.

C. J. Wilson kept the Yankees from a big rally over his 8 strong innings. But once again the Angels bullpen was not reliable and they lost 4-3.
