Good Day MLB,
This is to inform whoever is to concern, that the dominican community is very upset at how MLB handled the players being able to play on the dominican team, we were denied players like Albert Pujols , who wanted to play, and because of regulations was denied, this is a serious problem affecting the dominincan team , and we , the fans want to have a fair chance to compete with our best talent without restrictions, the same way other coutries compete, like usa and japan, without restrictions, the dominican baseball fans want fair competition, and we demand fair chance in the 2013 tournament,
We are tired of so many false reasons to block our players also from playning in the winter baseball league in the DR , our children in DR should have a chance to see jose reyes , or albert pujols play , or Adrian Beltre, its unfair to be blocking our players from playing what they did all their life , play Baseball, so this is warning of things to come, we will start demanding our players to have a right to play in the classic or winter league,
Let’s play ball, may the best coutry win, fair play..
i like the chances of my DR winning , if we have a full squad , withoout the dum and stupid MLB issues,,
A.N.
(ATR: When I wrote for clarification on who the writer was and his relationship with the Dominican team, this was the response):
Hello Sir,
i am a fan, and i am part of big fan club in Brooklyn NY and in Santo Domingo DR, we have hundreds of fans ready to Protest, against the way MLB is acting against our dominican ballplayers, not letting our superstars like albert Pujols , Hanley Ramirez and Jose Reyes, ETc, MLB dont let them participate to Play on Our native DR in Winter league, our kids in Santo domingo want to see their heroes play as well in DR. and also MLB is making it difficult for our dominican team players to easily participate in the Baseball classic, the last tournament, Albert Pujols wanted to play ,and they blocked him.
so we , the Huge , MIllions of Dominican Fans , want the game to fair and allow our player to play , in the Baseball classic, and in their hometowns in the DR, our kids in DR deserve to see them also , I dont see NBA blocking allstars from going to olympics or any event, so we see a trend happening , and we are noticing it , and thousands of dominican fans are already upset . we want fairness .from MLB,
i hope this is clear,
Thanks
(ATR: I will let you, the readers decide on this one. If nothing else, this is a very passionate baseball fan. I will leave it at that.)

(ATR: Are they selling a product? Possibly. But if you take the spamming possibility of the equation, it was a cute little link. I like reading about baseball cards and this was a fun read.)

(ATR: Again, not really sure what to make of this. Looks legit. Sounds legit. A great idea in principle. Something that I definitely would want to learn about. But these are the type of letters and questions we get on a daily basis.)
